What is Academic Achievers?

This is program is designed to ensure children are reading English at grade level in elementary school. We understand that every child has unique learning needs and sometimes cannot be met in the classroom.
At ReDefiners we provide one-on-one English literacy tutoring to children who have been deemed at risk of not meeting grade-level requirements.

What to expect

Students reading level will improve within 8 sessions

Minimum of 15 minutes a day of practice work at home

Schedule

1 hour sessions with a tutor

1 - 2 sessions per week

8 total sessions

Students must have access to a device with internet at home

Family Reading Time

Family Reading Time is a FREE joyous celebration of literature, togetherness, and cultural exploration. We gather at the cozy Fellowship Hall of Temple Terrace United Methodist Church to share in the magic of storytelling, where captivating narratives transport us to different worlds. Join us for an evening filled with engaging books, delightful activities, and warm community connections. It's a time for families to create lasting memories through the shared love of reading. Come, be a part of our story at Family Reading Time!
